Bo Boustedt was a Swedish architect, art collector and photographer. Born in Stockholm in 1919, Boustedt trained as an architect and opened his own practice in 1946. He first came into contact with Henry Moore in 1958 when he wrote asking to buy a small sculpture, and sent a photo of Reclining Figure (LH 192) in the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
From this time onwards, Boustedt visited Perry Green many times, and kept up a correspondence with Moore until 1983. He photographed Moore at his home in Perry Green and at the Noack Foundry in Berlin, and Moore's works in Europe and the United States.
Works from Boustedt's collection, including seven by Moore, were exhibited in 1963-64 in Gothenburg, Oslo, Lubeck, and Amsterdam; a selection of his photographs of Moore's sculptures were exhibited in 1977 in Gavle, Gothenburg, and Zurich.
